- A rectangular floor measures 8 m by 5 m. A tiler allows an extra 10% of the floor area for cutting waste. Tiles are sold only in whole packs, each covering 1.8 m². What is the minimum number of packs needed to meet this allowance?
- A bag contains six blue tokens and four red tokens. Two tokens are drawn at random, without replacing the first. What is the probability that both tokens are blue? Give your answer as an exact fraction.
- A scale model reproduces a tank's interior, with every length reduced by a factor of 20. The model has a capacity of 0.75 litres. What is the capacity of the real tank in litres?
- Printer A produces 48 pages per minute and starts at 09:00. Printer B produces 30 pages per minute and starts at 09:08. Both print continuously until 09:25. How many pages do they produce altogether?
